SAYLESS PROJECTS

II met Vincent (Sayless founder) one year before I began handling the visual identity of Sayless. When we first met, I was fairly new to running and was looking to meet more like-minded people in the space. I had heard about Oak Cliff Run Crew through the sneaker shop Centre. I showed up and, unlike my shy self, introduced myself to Vince. I told him what I did and that if he ever needed anything, to please reach out. One year later, he did. He told me he wanted to start a non-profit geared toward raising awareness for suicide prevention through running, and that's all he needed to say. I was game from the go.

With Sayless being about saying less and doing more, I wanted the logo to reflect that directly, and that's exactly what happened. The greater than sign reflected that perfectly.

From there, I have designed almost 80% of what Sayless does now, and I am forever grateful to be a part of the team.
